PURPOSE:To contrive sure ignition and cost reduction by a method wherein a spring type program timer is employed and the output shaft thereof is provided with a cam while the opening and closing operations of a nozzle as well as approaching and seceding of an ignition heater from a burner are effected by the pivot of the cam. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle opening and closing cam 32 and the cam 33 for the ignition heater are pivoted respectively synchronizing with the operation of a switch accommodated in the spring type program timer 30. First lever 34 is operated in accordance with the pivot of the nozzle opening and closing cam 32 to open or close the needle valve of a nozzle 10. The second lever 37 is operated in accordance with the pivot of the cam 33 for ignition heater to approach the exothermal wire 38 of the ignition heater 40 to the upper part of the burner for a predetermined time interval and secede it thereafter. According to this method, ignition may be effected surely while the cost of the heater may be reduced. |
