<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting of a heat insulating plate that prevents the temperature rise of a battery by providing a recess on the bottom of a battery jar in parallel to a short side surface, inserting the leg of the heat insulating plate that screens the side of the battery jar in this recess, and mounting the leg on a battery saucer. CONSTITUTION:Two or more recesses 2 are formed on the bottom of the battery jar 1 of a lead acid (storage) battery loaded on a car and such in parallel to the short side surface. In addition, after the leg 7 of a heat insulating plate 6 that prevents the temperature rise of the lead acid (storage) battery 5 caused by the heat generated from an engine and such is inserted in the recesses 7, the lead acid (storage) battery 5 is loaded on a battery saucer 4 mounted on a chassis 3 by way of welding. Then the battery is secured by a clamping bar 9 and a clamping bolt 10. As a result, the heat insulating plate 6 can be mounted simultaneously when the lead storage battery 5 is secured and man-hour can be reduced.</p> |
