PURPOSE:To enhance developability and to obtain a printing plate having a silicone rubber layer at the nonimage areas strongly bonded a photosensitive layer by using the silicone rubber layer composed essentially of organopolysiloxane and a reactive silane compd. having a C=C bond not directly combined with Si atom. CONSTITUTION:A photodimerizable type photosensitive resin layer to be used here can strongly adhere to the upper silicone rubber layer when it is irradiated with actinic rays. As said resin, polyesters, polycarbonates, PVA derivs., etc., each having on the main or branched chains of the polymers, group of one of formulae I-III. The silicone rubber layer usually has a film thickness of 0.5-10mum, preferably, about 1-3mum, and it is composed essentially of linear org. polysiloxane having a mol.wt. of several thousands - several hundred thousands, and as the reactive silane compd. having a C=C bond not directly combined with the Si atom is, especially preferably, compds. represented by formula IV. |
