PURPOSE:To obtain a cathode-ray tube formed with a conductive film hard to be peeled onto the inner face of funnel by adhering fine metal powder between the surface at the inside of funnel of CRT and a conductive film to be formed on it. CONSTITUTION:At the portion of a cathode-ray tube where the end section of a connector 5 or a valve space 9 is contacting with a conductive film 10 of funnel 6, inner dag 16 is formed with iron oxide smaller than 1mu, carbon in the range of 3-5mu, water glass, etc. Consequently, it is considered that the fine powder of copal 15 haing large grain size is contacting with the connector 5 or the valve spacer 9, or the fine powder 15 of copal adhered to the surface of the funnel 6 is contacted with the valve spacer 9, for example. As a result, the conductive film 10 comprised for inner dag 16 is never peeled to prevent deterioration of voltage withstandability.
