PURPOSE:To improve the hot workability by adding prescribed percentages of Cr, Mo, Nb, Ni, Mg, Zr, B and lanthanide group. CONSTITUTION:An Ni alloy is obtd. by incorporating 0.002-0.05wt% Mg and/or 0.01-0.5wt% Zr and 0.001-0.01wt% B and/or 0.002-0.05wt% lanthanide group into an Ni alloy contg. 20-23wt% Cr, 8-10wt% Mo and 3.15-4.15wt% Nb. The resulting Ni alloy is comparable to 'Inconel 625(R)' in the mechanical strength and has superior hot workability.
