The object of the invention is to enable any user of a cheque book to prove immediately that he or she is its rightful owner. There is reproduced in each cheque book on one of its non-detachable pages (stub, cover or a special page) a passport photo of the account holder or holders together with information as to how or where they may be contacted, such as address etc. These details are difficult to falsify and provide a more thorough guarantee than is offered by false identity papers made up from information taken from a found cheque book. |
