摘要 PURPOSE:To enable both an abnormal state to be detected easily and efficient operation to be carried by both indicating the occurrence of an abnormal state when the supercharging state becomes abnormal and automatically stopping the functions, in response to the degree of abnormality. CONSTITUTION:Sensors S1-S5 detect engine r.p.m., blower r.p.m., air cleaner secondary side negative pressure, lubricating oil pressure, and boost pressure, respectively, and input thus detected output into the I/O circuit 18 of a control device 15. A CPU16 reads out respective appropriate ranges of respective values, in response to individual engine rotating speeds and compares these appropriate values with the present input values in order to judge whether the supercharging is in a normal state or not. If the state is out of the appropriate range, the CPU indicates the state on an indicator 20. When the lubricating oil pressure is out of the appropriate range or when the blower r.p.m. is abnormally large, the CPU16 releases valves 'a' and 'b' and gives an instruction that the engine should be operated as a non-supercharging engine.
