Sorting system, consisting of a vessel 1, one 2 of the faces of which is provided with an inductor 3 connected to a high-frequency generator 10. A mixture of electrically conducting and non-electrically conducting bodies is tipped into the hopper 5. The path of these bodies passes in front of the inductor which, by the skin effect, repels the conducting bodies, whereas the non- conducting bodies are not deflected. The two paths followed, on the one hand by the conducting bodies, and on the other hand by the non- conducting bodies, thus enable them to be sorted. <IMAGE>
