PURPOSE:To increase the degree of dust collection and the quantity of treated gas and to treat an exhaust gas by separating centrifugal the exhaust gas into a purified gas and a dust-laden gas by means of a rotary flow in the inside of a primary dust collecting cylinder and reseparating centrifugally the dust-laden gas by means of the rotary flow in the inside of a secondary dust collecting cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In a primary dust collecting cylinder 20, an annular passage 28 is formed by providing an internal cylinder 27 concentrically and a rotary flow is caused in an exhaust gas by providing radiately the slanted guiding blades 29 to the passage 28. A dust separating cylinder part 24 of the primary dust collecting cylinder 20 is connected with a dust-laden gas introducing cylinder part 31 of a secondary dust collecting cylinder 21 in a passage 34 of the tangential direction and also the center of the cylinder part 31 is connected with the center of the lower part of a purified gas discharge cylinder part 33 of the cylinder 21 by means of a communication pipe 36. In such a way, since the exhaust gas is centrifugally separated into a purified gas and a dust-laden gas by giving the rotary flow in the inside of the primary and the secondary dust collecting cylinders, the degree of dust collection and the quantity of treated gas can be remarkably increased.
