Exhaust manifold for IC engine

The exhaust manifold of heat resistant sheet steel comprises a collecting pipe (1) and several connection fittings (2,3,4,5) for connection to the engine cylinder head, the manifold being constructed of sections joined by expansion joints. The connection fittings (2 5) have their free ends joined by a fixed strut (15). The strut may alternatively be in several sections or may be two long struts.
