<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to transfer and position a head polygon component smoothly and certainly by so setting the operational direction of a transfer mechanism as to go along the two sides parallel to each other including the corners before and behind of a transfer path in the moving direction of polygon components. CONSTITUTION:A slider 4 is provided to the rod 2A of the air cylinder 2 of a transfer mechanism 1 through a bracket 3 and is provided with a cradle 5 for taking a head polygon component. And a stopper 6 for stopping the cradle 5 at a specified position and a sensor 7 for operating the arm of a holding mechanism while a component P is laid to a delivery section 102 are also provided. When the end of the polygon component P delivered through a transfer path 10 reaches the transfer mechanism 1, the transfer mechanism 1 is, therefore, actuated to deliver the polygon component P to the delivery section 102 at which the component P is held by the arm of the holding mechanism to be supplied to an automatic assembly machine.</p> |
