<p>PURPOSE:To measure leakage of gas accurately by encapsulating gas to be detected into nitrogen gas in an accumulator then sampling the working oil upon regulated operation and evacuating thereafter sampling the specimen gas and performing quantitative analysis. CONSTITUTION:When performing leakage test of an accumulator 15, nitrogen gas N2 mixed with halogen gas such as SF6 by 5-10%, for example, as the gas to be detected is encapsulated in nitrogen gas chamber 27 at one side of the accumulator 15. Then hydraulic operating system (not shown) is operated by specific times to sample the working oil 16 in the working oil chamber 25. The sampled oil is evacuated through capillary method then the gas in the specimen oil is sampled to perform quantitative analysis through gas analyz er such as gas chromatography thus to measure SF6 in the specimen gas. It is compared with the amount of SF6 previously mixed to N2 side thus to calcu late leakage of N2.</p> |
