PURPOSE:A plurality of reserve tanks connected to the transfer ducts for transporting opened raw cotton are differed in their height and the raw cotton from individual reserve tanks is mixed with an air flow and transferred whereby mixing can be done efficiently with minimized equipments. CONSTITUTION:Opened raw cotton fed from bale plucker is sent alternately to branched transportation duct 5a, 5b by switching damper 7 to effect to feed raw cotton to reserve tanks 6a, 6b.... The raw cotton is thrown into the sucking duct 17 by feed rollers 12a, 12b..., and beaters 13a, 13b..., and mixed with air flow and sent from the feed duct to the next step. The reverse tanks are different in their heights and raw cotton different in their storage periods are mixed in the sucking duct.
