The invention relates to stabilisers for bows, making it possible to adjust and adapt the centring and the coupling coefficient of the bow stabiliser. It comprises a main mass 1, to which additional masses 2 and 3 can be added. The assembly as a whole is connected to the bow by means of a rod 6 and by the intermediary of an elastic buffer, one-piece or composed of a plurality of elements 5 and 7 of identical or different rigidities. The compression of the elastic element is obtained by the screw 11/anvil 10 system, making it possible to adapt the coupling coefficient of the mass of the stabiliser to the bow. The main use relates to static and dynamic stabilisations and the damping of vibrations of hunting bows. <IMAGE>
