The centrifuge separator apparatus includes, in a fixed vessel 1, a treatment rotor 3 having perforated discs 4 angularly offset with respect to each other, upstream by a rotary distributor (manifold) and downstream by a fan. According to the invention, if the direction G of the flow of the heavy phase is considered along the stationary wall of the vessel 1, the internal surface 29 of this wall is shaped so that the clearance between it and the peripheral envelope 30 of the discs 4 increases from the upstream end towards the downstream end, the heavy phase, which is in this intermediate space 13 or 24, in which a leak flow is established, being forced to travel towards the downstream end. <IMAGE>
