PURPOSE:To provide the titled slub yarn having thick-denier parts distributed in a specific state, a slub-to-slub period satisfying a specific condition, improved primary yield strength and elongation and improved handleability. CONSTITUTION:A multifilament yarn having denier unevenness along longitudinal direction and containing single filament having a denier deviation ratio of >=2.0. The value P50 of the period of 50cm on the chart of Uster spectrograph (normal test, chart speed; 8m/min, chart range; 25%) is <=50% of the maximum value Pmax, the primary yield strength is >=1.2g/de, and the elongation at break is <=33%. The yarn can be produced by the dispersed drawing method characterized in that the concentration of the drawing point to the whole yarn is prevented in the drawing of an undrawn or semidrawn polyester yarn.
