PURPOSE:To separate and recover effectively metals and plastic by adding water or a separating liquid to plastic stuck with metals, heating and stirring the mixture. CONSTITUTION:After crushing plastic stuck with metals by a crusher 2, it is introduced into a vessel 1 while regulating the quantity with a cock 5. While stirring the vessel 1 with a stirrer 4, if necessary water or a sodium chloride soln. and a calcium carbonate soln. or the like is added and it is heated at the thermal softening temp. and above with a boiler 3. Thereby plastic shows the fluidity and the stuck metals having specific gravity larger than plastic are precipitated in the vessel 1 and taken out from a discharge port 6 of the bottom of the vessel 1 while regulating them with a cock 7. In such a way, the pure metals and plastic are completely separated. |
