PURPOSE:A fiber-forming polyester is combined with specific amounts of polyalkylene glycol, surfactants and antioxidant and the degree of hollowness is set in a certain range to give the titled fiber with high antistatic performance and high light fastness. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber is composed of Awt% of a fiber-forming polyester, Bwt% of polyalkylene glycol of 1,000-20,000mol.wt. Cwt% of a surfactant of the formula: RSO3(1/m)M (R is 6-30C alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl; M is alkali metal, alkaline earth metal; m is an integer equal to the electric charge of M) and Dwt% of a hindered phenol antioxidant boiling higher than 200 deg.C where B is 1-7; C is 0.5-4; 0.018<=(B+C+D)/A<=0.098. Further, the degree of hollowness of the resultant fiber is set in a range 490/A<=P<=3,480/A where P is degree of hollowness.
