PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly and coincidence of the axis cores of a plurality of members by performing center adjustment by fitting the inside diameter at the rear edge of a transmission case and the outside diameter at the top edge of a transmission mechanism case. CONSTITUTION:The constitution elements of a 4-wheel driving automatic transmission (transfer) 2 are divided into an extension case 6 made of aluminium alloy, front-side transmission mechanism case 7, rear-side transmission mechanism case 8, and an extension housing 9, and jointed in series, and accommodated into a case 5 fastened from behind by a number of bolts so as to have a same axis core. On assembly of these constitution elements, a speed change mechanism 3 is assembled onto a transmission case 6, and then a supporting wall 63 is center-adjusted through fitting, and the front-side transmission mechanism case 7 is center-adjusted, and further, a transmission mechanism 4 and the rear-side transmission mechanism case 8 are fastened coaxially.
