PURPOSE:To make easy and sure separation and contacting between developers and a sensitivity body by bringing a photosensitive belt into contact with the developing sleeve of a developing device, which performs development, by a pressing member corresponding to this developing device synchronously with the development timing of each of various developing devices to perform separation and contacting between the sensitive body and developers in the sensitive body side. CONSTITUTION:For example, the developing device 31 of yellow starts the operation, and its developing sleeve 31a starts rotating, and a pressing member 31b confronting with the sleeve 31a is displaced from the holding position to the operating position synchronously with this start to press the rear face of a photosensitive belt 30, and the front face of this pressed part is allowed to press contact with the developing sleeve 31a. As the result, the gap between the photosensitive belt 30 and a yellow developer on the developing sleeve 31a is 0mm, and a proper development function is fulfilled. In such a state, the photosensitive belt 30 between a driving roll 40 and a following-up roll 41 is formed to a mountain shape at the point, which is pressed by the pressing member 31b, as the top, and there are gaps between the photosensitive belt 30 and developing sleeves 32a-34a of the other developing devices. |
