PURPOSE:To attain the tracking shift of a magnetic head up to the position of a desired order for shooting with a simple constitution, by providing a count drive source and a tracking drive source independently of each other and designating the track position at a count designating part. CONSTITUTION:A count designating part 3 provided to a jacket 2 storing a magnetic disk is revolved for designation of the track position of a magnetic head 5. When a disk is loaded, a count coupling gear 19 is pushed down to turn on a coupling switch 22. Then a solenoid 23 is turned on and off to revolve the gear 19. The gear 19 is moved up to turn off the switch 22 when a recess part 3c is coincident with a projection part 19a. In a shooting mode a disk drive motor 7 and a pulse motor 8 are driven for tracking. Then a tracking gear 17 is revolved and a contact is secured between electric contacts 17a and 19b. Thus a pulse motor 8 is held. Here the tracking position (numerical value) of the head 5 is coincident with the value of the part 3.
