PURPOSE:To obtain the sharp switching characteristics and to avoid a misinput by using a polyurethane film and a polyurethane resistor to the 1st and 2nd resistor substrates of an input position detecting tablet respectively. CONSTITUTION:An input position detecting tablet consists of two planar resistors 5 and 10 and an insulated spacer 9 put into a gap between both resistors 5 and 10. Then desired characters, marks, etc. are supplied by giving pressure to the tablet with a writing utencils 6. In this case, the resistors of the tablet are made of a resistor substrate 10 of a polyurethane film and a resistance element 11 of a polyurethane resistor. As a result, the sharp and even switching characteristics can be secured for the resistors. This also prevents a misinput with the tablet.
