In order to connect a flexible printed cable (1) or circuit to a printed-circuit board (7), the connecting ends (20) (which are extended beyond the connecting region) of the conductor tracks (2) are bent back, together with the carrier film (3) of the flexible printed cable (1) or circuit, through an angle of 180 DEG , so that a pulse-heated soldering tool, especially a soldering iron (9), can be placed onto the bent-back connecting ends (20) and the connection of the connecting ends (20) to the associated connecting surfaces (6) of the printed-circuit boards (7) can be carried out by reflow soldering. In this case, the heat is primarily transported to the soldering point via the bent-around connecting ends (20).
