A method for mounting an elastic hose on a stiff pipe nozzle. A work method which can be automated is intended to be specified for mounting hoses on stiff pipe nozzles by means of a clamp which is generally radially sprung. To this end, the clamp is placed on a circumference which is integrally connected to the pipe nozzle and is larger than that of the hose, the hose is then pushed onto the pipe nozzle and the clamp is subsequently stripped off the circumference and pushed over the hose, its stress which is required for holding the width corresponding to the circumference being produced by flexure. <IMAGE>
