PURPOSE:To subject stable fibers to web untwistable spinning in an improved spinning tone without causing loss of size, contamination of device by size, etc., by wetting a fiber bundle, drafting it, twisting it falsely, providing it with a size, drying, and winding it. CONSTITUTION:The fiber bundle 1 is wetted by the wetting device 2, and predrafted by the predrafting zone 5 consisting of the back rollers 3 and 3' and the middle rollers 4 and 4'. It is successively drafted mainly by the main drafting zone 7 consisting of the middle rollers 4 and 4' and the front rollers 6 and 6'. Then, it is falsely twisted by the false twist device 8 to give the untwistable yarn 1', which is provided with the size solution 12 by the size feeder consisting of the rollers 9 and 10 and the size solution tank 11. The yarn is then dried by the drying drum 13, and wound as the cheese 15 by the winding drum 14. |
