The display processor comprises a series connection of a Y-set and Y-actual coordinate comparator (2), a Y-coordinate selector (6), an address multiplexer (7), which are connected to a series connection of an incrementing unit (21) for lines of graphic symbols, a unit (13) for determining the output sequence of the lines of graphic symbols and a unit (19) for determining the output sequence of the lines of graphic symbols, a random-access memory (15), a multi-channel switch (17), an X-set and X-actual coordinate comparator (1) and a video summer (5). The multi-channel switch (17) is connected to the Y-set and Y-actual coordinate comparator (2), to the unit (13) for determining the output sequence of the lines of graphic symbols, to the unit (19) for determining the output sequence of the lines of graphic symbols and to the incrementing unit (21) for lines of graphic symbols and the video summer (5), which are connected to one another. <IMAGE>
