PURPOSE:To record and reproduce information multiplexed in a specific horizontal scanning section by releasing the band limitation of a band-limited luminance signal synchronously with the specific horizontal scanning section of a color video signal to eliminate a chromaticity signal converted to a low band. CONSTITUTION:The color video signal inputted from a terminal 1 has the luminance signal taken out by an LPF2 and is supplied to a mixer 6 through an FM modulator 4 and an FM filter 5. The chromaticity signal separated by a BPF3 is supplied to the mixer 6 through a low converter 7 and an LPF8. The output of the mixer 6 is recorded on a magnetic tape T. Meanwhile, a synchronizing signal separated by a synchronizing signal separating circuit 11 is supplied to a vertical synchronizing signal shaping circuit 12 and a horizontal synchronizing signal shaping circuit 13. A pulse E whose phase is synchronized with a character multiplex signal section C is outputted by a counter 14 and a pulse shaping device 15. Electronic switches SW1-1-SW1-3 are operated by the pulse e to release the band limitation of the luminance signal and eliminate the chromaticity signal. Thus, the character multiplex signal is recorded and reproduced. |
