A pump is used for pumping product in the form of foodstuffs, milk etc. The pump comprises a space 25, which can be cleaned by means of cleaning agent which can be introduced into the working space 1 of the pump, close to a sealing arrangement with mechanical sealing parts 10a, 10b. All the parts of the cleanable space 25 are located in close association with the gaps 22 between product-displacing members 2 and an opposite wall 13a, 17a in the working space. The cleanable space is connected to said gaps 22 and is sealed by means of a first elastic seal 11 and a second elastic seal 12. The space 25 is easily accessible and of short length. <IMAGE> |
