In order to improve handling, during a sawing process, of a dental handpiece having a gear which is located in a cylindrical housing and can be connected to a drive shaft and a sleeve which can be connected to the cylindrical housing, the sleeve accommodating part of the gear and drive elements connected thereto, and having a tool which can be connected to a drive element projecting from the sleeve, it is proposed that the tool be a keyhole saw blade which is fixed in a mounting mounted so as to be displaceable in the sleeve parallel with the longitudinal axis thereof, the mounting being movable in an oscillating manner via a crank drive by the gear. |
