PURPOSE:To detect exactly and quickly an indicated index by providing an optical pickup driving control part, signal demodulating part, and an arithmetic part for calculating a sub-code obtained by demodulating it, and a storage part, to a digital audio disk. CONSTITUTION:A distance between the first point of the next melody of an indicated melody, and the present point is calculated by an operating part 23, and as a result, an optical pickup part 21 is brought to the first point of the next melody of an indicated melody through a driving control part 24. Thereafter, the optical pickup part 21 is made to jump and returned by one track each under the control of the optical pickup driving control part 24, and the last point of the indicated melody is detected. Subsequently, a size of the index obtained at that point and an indicated index is calculated by the arithmetic part 23, the distance is calculated by the part 23 by a length recorded in a storage part 25 from the point where the optical pickup part exists, and the optical pickup part 21 is moved through the driving control part 24. By executing this repetition, the optical pickup part 21 is moved to a point of the indicated index. |
