<p>PURPOSE:To quicken inversion of sheet by varying the carrying direction of three closed sheet carrying paths with predetermined angle against the sheet carrying direction at prestage then inverting the sheet and eliminating storage, stoppage and reverse rotation of sheet in the carrying path. CONSTITUTION:The sheet advancing straight through a branch mechanism 16 is inverted and diverted through oblique rollers 17, 18 at the carrying points 33, 34 then carried over the carrying points 35, 36 on sub-carrying path 19 while inverted and diverted again through an oblique roller 20 at the carrying point 37 then returned to the carrying point 31 while facing the other face not formed with a picture image upward. The picture image is formed similarly through a drum 14d to fix the toner image on the sheet through the heat and the pressure of fixing roller 15 at the carrying point 32 thus to finish formation of picture image onto the second face. Then the sheet carrying path is branched through branching mechanism 16 to paper discharging path 21 to discharge the sheet formed with picture images on the opposite sidefaces through a discharge roller 22 to a tray 23.</p> |
