<p>Process and device for fixing buttons on a textile material. The button, of plastic material, comprises a first head (1) integral with a rod (2), on which is applied a tool (6) submitted to ultrasonic oscillations. The rod (2) penetrates in the cloth (9) held by a moving support (11), and its end (10) enters a conic bore (14) of a second head (3) and, by melting, fills the bore.
