DISC LOCKING APPARATUS OF FLOPPY DISC DRIVER

A disc locking device for a floppy disc driver comprises a small receiver plate (7) with simple accessories located in the upper side of the main frame (1); a supporting disc locking cone (8); an on-off power switch (20) operating with the action of the device to prevent power consumption resulting both from blank rotation of the disc driving motor (4) and from disc breakage; and manipulating handle (30) that seats the disc inserted in the disc entrance (3) of the front panel (2) in the accurate position. It conveniently adjusts the stroke of the device and the hole sensor (11) for detecting the disc index hole.
