PURPOSE:To know the position of a running carriage which can not be viewed from bottom distance values in a graph and their permutation by generating the graph which shows the relation between the angle and distance of the running carriage to circumferential walls. CONSTITUTION:The relation between the angle and distance of the running carriage 3 to circumferential walls 2a, 2b, 2c, and 2d is graphed. In this case, the distance sum l1+l3 of the 1st and the 3rd bottom values on the graph is the length of one side of a cell 1 and the distance sum l2+l4 of the 2ns and the 4th bottom values is the length of the other side of the cell 1. Then, there are four estimated positions where the running carriage 3 is possibly present, i.e. A1, A2, B1, and B2, but the positions B1 and B2 are not conformable and the points A1 and A2 remain. It is decided that the running carriage is present at the position A1 when the feed lengths of cables 7 and 8 are large or at the position A2 when small. Thus, the position of the running carriage which can not be viewed is detected. |
