PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of an optical fiber by holding elastically a suspension arm of an optical cable to a laser generator. CONSTITUTION:The optical cable which contains the optical fiber and conducts laser light to an intended place is suspended by the suspension arm 4. The arm 4 is fixed via a groove 4a to an arm boss 4b. A tension pin 6 pulls the axial center of the arm 4 via a coil spring 7 in the axial direction thereof to press the arm boss 4b to a holder 8 thereby holding horizontally the arm 4. The arm 4 pulls a pin 6 against the spring 7 to release the force to be exerted to the optical cable when the optical cable is strongly pulled. Since the arm 4 is elastically held, the force is effectively released even if the cable is pulled in any direction. The breakage of the optical fiber is thus prevented by such method. |
