PURPOSE:To provide a plaster composed of a drug component and a base containing a carboxyl-modified liquid rubber and a crosslinking agent, and having excellent adhesivity, stickiness, shape-retainability, water-absorptivity, etc. CONSTITUTION:A carboxyl-modified liquid rubber (produced by adding maleic anhydride and/or its derivative to a polyisoprene having a molecular weight of 10,000-90,000) is compounded with a cross-linking agent (e.g. metallic crosslinking agent such as zinc oxide, glycol-based crosslinking agent such as polyoxyethylene glycol, etc.) at a ratio of (5-60):(1-10), preferably (10-30):(2-5), and preferably with an oil component (e.g. naphthenic oil, paraffinic oil, animal oil or fat such as lanolin, etc.), and 100pts.wt. of the obtained base is compounded with 1-25pts.wt. of a medicinal drug component (e.g. analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent such as hydrocortisone) to obtain the objective plaster. The plaster can be applied without causing the side effects such as rash and can be applied again after peeling.
