<p>PURPOSE:To improve the durability by forming a hard substrate in the cut away portion of the body of a glass run channel, and forming a guide piece in the outside of the hard substrate by means of the injection of a hard resin undiluted solution into a metal mold, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A channel member 10D is put on a mounting member 32 so as to locate the cut away portion 13 of a glass run channel member 10D to the side of a forming cavity 31c. Next, an upper mold 36 is matched to a lower mold 31, and in this state an undiluted solution of hard resin is injected to a runner 31e from a forming machine. The undiluted solution flows into the forming cavity 31c from an injection port 31 d and flows into the cut away portion 13 of the channel member 10D. At this time, since the undiluted solution flows in a direction of pushing up the lower end 10d of a lip portion 10c, the lower end 10d of the lip portion 10c is not pushed down within a metal mold. Accordingly, the undiluted solution sufficiently spreads into both sides of the inside and the outside at the lower end of the lip portion 10c. When the undiluted solution is solidified, a glass run channel 10 is formed.</p> |
