PURPOSE:To provide the titled wire excellent in abrasion resistance, high-temp. adhesion, and prolonged heat resistance, by providing a self-fusible insulation layer comprising a straight-chain high-molecular compd. and an ultrafine benzoguanamine resin powder on a conductor directly or through an insulating coating film. CONSTITUTION:A resin consisting mainly of a straight-chain high-molecular compd. (e.g., phenoxy resin) and 0.1-10wt%, pref. 1.0-4wt%, based on the resin, ultrafine benzoguanamine resin powder with an average particle size of 10mu or below, pref. 5mu or below, are incorporated to yield a coating. Said coating is applied onto a conductor directly or through an insulating coating film (e.g., polyester imide) and baked to form a self-fusible insulation layer, giving the titled wire.
