PURPOSE:To construct a transmission case body combinedly usable by setting two types of said front covers, one for containing and the other for not containing an accelerating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic pressure pump 28 and a control valve 27 are installed in a transmission case 4, to constitute a transmission with accelerating mechanism 12. An intermediate shaft and an output shaft for front wheels of a main transmission part 8 in which an accelerating mechanism is not provided, are converted into a connecting intermediate shaft 33a for the hydraulic pump 28 and a connecting output shaft for an input shaft 13. Also, a three-part divided type front cover 4A consisting of a first case part 4c, and second case part 4d, and a third case part 4e, is installed to the case body 4.
