PURPOSE:The titled lightweight composition of excellent electrical insulation, comprising an unsaturated polyester resin, an inorganic filler, inorganic hollow particles and an isocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:An unsaturated polyester resin (A) is mixed with an inorganic filler (B) (e.g., CaCO3), inorganic hollow particles of a specific gravity <=1.0 (C) (e.g., silica microballoons), 0.7-1.3mol, per mol of the hydroxyl groups of component A, of an isocyanate compound (D) (e.g., 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) and, optionally, polymerizable monomers such as styrene and (meth)acrylic acid, a curing catalyst, a shrinkage controller, etc.
