PURPOSE:To increase the output of a motor by suitably differentiating the distance between the inner periphery of a housing which acts as a yoke and a cylindrical rotor which acts as an armature core at every portion along the outer periphery of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A strip 2 is formed on the inner periphery of a hosing 1 of a circular section acting as a yoke. A skirt oblique surface 2b is formed between the top 2a of the strip 2 and the inner periphery 1a of the housing 1 to eliminate the concentration of a magnetic flux PHI in a corner A. A magnetic path passing the yoke is shortened, the magnetic flux of X-X direction is increased, a perpendicular axis inductance Ldr increases. Thus, the relationship between the torque T of the motor and the current is represented by the equation wherein represent Ldr perpendicular axis inductance, Lqr is lateral inductance, alpha is brush angle and Ia is armature current. Thus, the output of the motor can be increased. |
