PURPOSE:To make the constitution of the device simple and small by initializing successively a store cell of an optical random access memory, and reading and transferring successively the contents of the store cell after the time set beforehand passes after respective store cells are initialized. CONSTITUTION:A store cell for the scanning line defined by a value N of an optical random access memory 3 is first initialized, and after the cell is initialized, the contents of the store cell exposed only for the time needed to initialize the value N only are transferred successively to a picture memory 7. Thus, the contents of the store of the picture memory 7 is discriminated by the level, thereby obtaining a brightness pattern of the image picked-up body. When a scanning completing detecting signal is derivated from a line 27 on the way of the final initialization of one screen of the memory 3, a signal generating circuit 22 is made inactive and the initialization of the memory 3 by a driving circuit 24 is stopped. At such a time, the first address counter 16 and the first time counter 12 continue the action based upon the signal from a clock generating circuit 30 for the address. |
