PURPOSE:To have sure separation of a lifesaving buoy from the hull by providing two chambers divided by a diaphragm with such possibility that the pressure in one of the chambers is boosted to a level higher than in the other chamber, and by releasing the fixed condition of a fixed rope of a lifesaving buoy separation mechanism which is fixing the life buoy to the hull. CONSTITUTION:If a hull is underwater in the event of a wreck, the same pressure is applied to a diaphragm 6 and an adjusting diaphragm 15 simultaneously because of the influx pressure, when one of the chambers 12 will be given a higher pressure than the other 13. If the pressure difference exceeds a certain set value, a check valve 16 will open to permit air flow only in the direction from the chamber 12 to the other 13. Because the chambers 12, 13 are given the same pressure and the one 12 is decompressed rapidly, the diaphragm 6 moves toward the partition wall 11 by a great step. Following this motion of the diaphragm 6, a connector 32 is actuated to release contact with a release lever 36 which has been in contact with a tapered surface 35. An engagement lever 51 is also rotated pulled by a fixed rope 4 to cause release of it.
