PURPOSE:To facilitate the removal of dust, etc. and at the same time to obtain a clean surface to be coated without attracting dust, etc., by blasting air against the surface of a plasma-treated resin molding before coating to clean the surface. CONSTITUTION:A resin molding is subjected to a plasma treatment as a pretreatment for coating and air is blasted against the molding before coating to clean its surface. Conventionally, coating has been conducted without plasma treatment by removing dust by wiping, etc., in advance. On the contrary, a molding which has been subjected to the plasma treatment must be coated without wiping, because the treated surface (modified surface) is broken by wiping. Accordingly, dust comes out to the surface and the quality of the coated surface is greatly lowered. By cleaning the surface by air blasting, good coating can be obtd.
