PURPOSE:To extract successively a tocotrienol and a tocopherol useful as drugs, foods, etc., and to separated them in high purity, by bringing a distillate from a deodorizing process, etc., of fats and oils into contact with an adsorbent of reversed phase partition type and bringing it into contact with a solvent. CONSTITUTION:Preferably free fatty acids are removed from a distillate obtained in a deodorizing process or distillation and acid removal process of fats and oils containing both a tocotrienol and a tocopherol. The distillate is brought into contact with a reversed phase partition type adsorbent (preferably silica gel bonded chemically to 6-28C linked alkyl group, etc.), thence contacted with a solvent, and the tocotrienol and the tocopherol are successively extracted.
