PURPOSE:To recover a high-quality rubber oil over a long period, by fractionating a low-boiling oil obtained by fractionation of oil vapor in a specified 1st fractionation apparatus, in a 2nd fractionation apparatus, fractionating refluxed oil again and quenching it in a condenser for automatic removal of deposited carbon particles. CONSTITUTION:Oil vapor vaporized in an evaporator 1 is introduced into a 1st fractionation apparatus 3 through a pipe 2 and is made to ascend between a group of process units consisting of a number of small pipes 4 made of heat conductive material, for fractionation. Deposited carbon particles are made to leave the system spontaneously and a high-boiling oil is made to overflow from an oil reservoir 5 and flow out through an outlet pipe 6 as heavy oil. When necessary, a part of the oil is refluxed to the evaporator 1. Vapor of a low-boiling oil rising from the fractionation apparatus 3 is introduced into the lower part of a 2nd fractionation apparatus 12 through a pipe 11 and, when necessary, is made to ascend between a group of process units consisting of a number of suspended chains 13 and is sent from an outlet 18 to a condenser 19 for quenching into a low-boiling oil. Rectified oil obtained by fractionation of the low-boiling oil in a fractionation apparatus 12 is refluxed to the fractionation apparatus from an oil reservoir 22 through a pipe 23 for rerectification and is led into a condenser 29 through a pipe 28 to produce a colorless or pale colored rubber oil.
