<p>Method for the biological purification of contaminated gases, the contaminants therein are not or hardly water-soluble, by means of microorganisms comprising a first stage wherein the contaminated gases are brought into contact with an aqueous suspension containing 2-40% by weight of a biologically inert carrier material which is optionally loaded with one or more types of microorganism, whereafter, in a second stage, the contaminants, adsorbed in the carrier material are broken down anaerobically, optionally preceded or followed by a aerobical fermentation.</p> |
