PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the efficiency of photo absorption power generation by a method wherein a photo absorption light emitting member is formed so that the cross section is annular and partly flattened in the outer peripheral surface, and a solar cell is mounted on this flat surface. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is composed of a long plate of solar cell 3 and a cylindrical photo absorption light emitting member 4: the latter is made of acrylic resin with mixed fluorescent agent or glass and is provided with a solar cell 3 at the bottom 4a. This member 4 can receive solar ray of width B much wider than the width A of incident light which the solar cell 3 receives. Further, because of its cylindrical shape, it can efficiently receive solar ray through a daytime without any follower if the peripheral direction is kept coincident with the direction of rotation of the sun: not only direct ray, but scattered ray. Accordingly, photo absorption power generation is possible in cloudy days as well as in fine days. |
