<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damage and deterioration due to tape slack and too strong tension by supplying a current being a proper tension in response to a winding diameter to one reel at reel lock and controlling the other reel to a lower speed. CONSTITUTION:The reel winding diameter is calculated by the output of tacho- generators 5, 6 fitted to reel motors 1, 2 via a counter 7 and a winding radius calculating circuit 8. Either of reels, e.g., a reel 3 is selected at the reel lock and a motor current calculating circuit 9 supplies a current giving a proper tension to a reel diameter at that point of time to the reel 3. Then the other reel 4 receives the control being a speed lower than the speed being a proper tension to the reel 3. Thus, damage or deterioration due to tape slack or two strong tension is prevented at the reel lock.</p> |
