PURPOSE:To prevent a friction from increasing on a resonance of a head by supporting one magnetic head oppositely sliding and contacting on both surfaces of a disk to a carriage through a supporting sheet and the other magnetic head to an arm rotatably supported to the carriage through the supporting sheet. CONSTITUTION:An information magnetic head 7 on a bottom surface of a disk 3 is supported by a carriage through a resilient supporting sheet 8. A magnetic head 14 sliding and contacting on an upper surface of the disk 3 is supported by a resilient supporting sheet 15 disposed on an arm 16 rotatable with respect to the carriage by a leaf spring 17. By such a supporting construction, as in the case when one head is fixed to the carriage and the other is supported in gimbal manner a friction between the head and the disk is not increased and a wearing thereof is prevented. A generation of a resonance of the head based on the rotatable supporting can be avoided.
